It was a Christmas gift for the son of our 16 years. He loves the game just because it gives 4 stars, for all he is said to have functionality outside the game that were previously on the third. Rating: 4 / 5

Call of Duty is back to the PS2 with Call of Duty: World at War Final Fronts; stripped down conversion of the great WWII FPS. Unfortunately, Final Fronts does not do enough to distinguish itself from old games Call of Duty, and bears little resemblance to any other versions of World at War. Each of the innovations in gameplay in the upcoming round of last year’s Call of Duty 4 and other versions of World at War are absent here, leaving the PS2 version to play more like an expansion pack for the PS2 versions of Call of Duty 2 and 3. Combine that with the mud graphics engine and some just plain brain-dead enemy AI, and Front end just ends up being boring complete. I know that the PS2 is older, but it is much more capable of performing better than what this game offers. If you still hold to your PS2 than this watered down version of World at War worth the detour, but if you have a call time big fan of having the time to move to a more powerful console is definitely now. NOTE: The online magazine says this is a multiplayer game. But it is not. Only 1 player game. I bought it to play multiplayer and was very disappointed.
