Part 1 of 2. Classic Game Room reviews FRONT MISSION 4 for the Playstation 2 PS2 video game console. This Front Mission 4 review shows gameplay from FM4 by Square Enix. It is a turn based strategy game where you command an army of giant Mechwarrior like robots in combat against the forces of evil. Similar in scope and style to the popular Final Fantasy Tactics series, Front Mission 4 comes alive with intense, strategy based gameplay that requires players to think, plan ahead and use complicated attack and linking plans to eliminate their enemy Wanzers, tanks and helicopters. If you like Final Fantasy Tactics then odds are you will enjoy FM4. If you enjoyed Front Mission 3 on the psone you’ll definitely like this game although CGRHD found the plot with the Zaftrans and Venezuelan freedom fighters to be a bit lacking. Seriously… the thieves stealing a box of gold?? Come on. But giant robots with machine guns, shotguns, missiles, rockets, EMP pulse backpacks and brass knuckles are always a good thing. Front Mission 4 is a cheap and easy game to find for the PS2 these days and well worth a look if you like strategy based video games. Classic Game Room reviews new and retro video games. Sucka! You may learn a few tips and tricks from the footage in this review to improve your gaming in Front Mission 4. Squaresoft! If you like Tranzor Z, Mech Warrior or Giant Robo you should check this out!

Front Mission 3 is well above 4. Scenario is low, the characters are small, customizable wanzers are low, some of the best features of 3 went as forced surrender of enemies (to get their wanzers), can enter and exit your Wanzer the skills of battle are now purchased rather than won, cheesy, all hell in voiceover, and last but not least, put your TV in black and white, the origin of this game can be both black and white because there is no color in it unlike FM3. . .

What is PSO?

I must say, regarding the comment on the brass knuckles, it makes sense to me, they do massive amounts of damage the enemy’s pieces, more than any of the bullets to a single stroke, more if you want to drag in the logic of a giant robot game, logic would suggest that the brass knuckles and bunkers pile would be more profitable because of the enormous amount of money it must cost to keep each weapon filled with ammunition, one Wanzer and weapons cost a fortune!

I’m sorry but he said ‘53 hours’ as if it was something impressive. . . in PSO I passed the 600 hours and 53 is like nothing. . .
