Adventure is, as its name suggests, an early adventure game for the Atari 2600. You have to dodge or kill dragons on the way to finding the chalice, and bring the chalice inside the yellow castle to win the game. In this video, I play on the easiest difficulty, and complete the goal in under 34 seconds, timed from the moment I gain control to the moment the screen starts flashing.

Originally it was for the Atari 2600 VCS. You can also play on the 2600 “Jr.”, 7800, a Rom, and the series of flashback.

What was this being played on? The sound is strange, orange yellow key, other things were not the right color, and the screen flashed strangely when you go between some rooms. . . .

Someone has created an adventure 2 for the Atari 5200. It is close enough to the gameplay of the original on 2600. There is also an adventure 2 on the Atari Flashback is exactly like the original but with more mazes, etc.

If you remember playing this game, I’m sure you’re nice. How on earth did we finish games or find Easter eggs at the time, without any manual help? Great video!
